Privacy Policy
Story Synk (“we”, “us”) is operated by Turks All For One LLC. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it when you use the Story Synk iOS app.
Information we collect
- Account data — email address, display name, username, and authentication identifiers when you sign up with email, Sign in with Apple, or Google.
- Profile data — bio and public profile information you choose to provide.
- User content — stories, chapters, covers, comments, reading annotations, invites, and library shelves you create.
- Usage data — read counts and session membership needed to operate reading rooms and discovery.
- Device / security data — standard Firebase Authentication tokens and secure transport metadata.
How we use information
- Provide account sign-in, profiles, storytelling, collaboration, and reading sessions
- Moderate content submitted for publication (including mature themes)
- Process reports of abuse and honor block requests
- Respond to support requests and protect the service from fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Sharing
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Storage) to host and process app data. Public or shared stories and profiles may be visible to other signed-in users according to the visibility settings you choose.
Retention & deletion
You can delete your account in the app under Profile → Delete Account. That removes your Firebase Auth account and associated profile data we store (including your stories and library items we can identify as yours). Some residual logs or backups may persist for a limited time for security and legal compliance.
Children
Story Synk is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the app if you are under 13.
Your choices
- Update profile information in the app
- Report content or block users
- Delete your account at any time
